The pieces you reach for, every day.

A pendant, a favourite pair of earrings, a little room for your own style.

Diamond rings and a tennis bracelet worn with a white outfit

Start with the piece you love

An everyday jewellery collection does not need to be a matching set. Begin with the piece you already enjoy wearing: a pendant that sits just right, small earrings you barely notice, or a ring with a memory attached.

Try it with the clothes you actually wear. A plain shirt, an open neckline or a familiar knit gives you a better starting point than an occasion you are still planning for.

Leave a little space

If you are layering necklaces, try different lengths so each pendant has a place of its own. Take a look while sitting as well as standing. Keep the combination comfortable, and adjust anything that catches or crowds another piece.

For a simpler look, choose one focal point. A pendant can be enough on its own; a pair of earrings can do the same. You can always add another detail when the mood changes.

Make room for the unexpected

Your favourites do not have to share a metal colour or a particular era. Put two pieces together and see whether you like the balance. A personal collection becomes interesting through the choices that make sense to you.

The aim is a small collection you want to wear, rather than a set of rules to remember. Start with one piece tomorrow morning and see what follows.
